SWABI -UNS– Two Pakistan Army soldiers embraced martyrdom and five terrorists were killed in an operation in Swabi on Tuesday.
According to Inter Services Public Relations (ISPR), Pakistan Army soldiers and terrorists exchanged fire in Malikabad area of Swabi district in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) province.
“During exchange of fire Capt Junaid and Sepoy Amjad embraced shahadat,” the Inter Service Public Relations (ISPR) stated in a press release.
According to ISPR, the compound was surrounded and five terrorists were killed during the operation.
“Sacrifice of our Shaheeds will not go waste. Terrorist will be brought to their end and held accountable for their Fasaad,” Army Chief General Qamar Javed Bajwa said.
Security has been beefed up after commencement of a countrywide anti-terror operation called Raddul Fasaad (elimination of discord), following a wave of terrorist attacks claimed more than 100 lives in different cities during one week.
More than hundred terrorists have been killed and dozens detained during ongoing operation so far.
