ISLAMABAD -UNS: Pakistan Peoples’ Party (PPP) chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari Friday said that there was no threat to democracy and Nawaz Sharif was only trying to save himself and ruled out contacts with the PML-N.
He was addressing a press conference. He said that there was no threat to democracy at the moment adding that the PPP would not accept demands from any other party.
Bilawal announced that would will not make any contact with PML-N, will not pick their calls or go to a meeting. “They are on their own,” he said.
There should be no role of the military or the judiciary in the parliament, Bilawal said and added that he did not want to see institutions intervening in the work of other institutions.
The PPP chief said: “its quite upsetting to see he (Nawaz) is doing contempt of court in every of his speech,” adding, “it appears the contempt of court notices is only for PPP.”
Responding over a question, Bilawal said that there is no possibility of ‘minus-one’ formula in the PPP.
