ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Shahid Khaqan Abbasi on Wednesday left for Saudi Arabia on a day-long visit to the kingdom.
This is first foreign visit of the PM since assuming the office earlier this month.
Accompanied by Finance Minister Ishaq Dar and Foreign Minister Khawaja Asif, the PM will call on Saudi Crown Prince Muhammad bin Salman, and hold meetings with high officials of the kingdom.
According to our correspondent, the PM will hold special consultation with Saudi leadership over the current regional situation.
He will also pay a visit to the Rozae-e-Rasool (PBUH) in Medina.
