KARACHI: Dairy and Cattle Farmers Association President Shakir Umar Gujjar has said that hormone-enhancing injection being used for increasing the production of milk in cattle is causing cancer among animals.
While speaking to Samaa, he said the injecting companies had misguided the cattle farmers about the use of injections which have caused cancer and other diseases in the cattle, adding that the people are compelled to consume the milk of affected cattle.
Called for action against the companies, he said the milk production in Karachi has significantly declined.
