Pakistan becomes International Socca Federation member

BIRMINGHAM -UNS- The International Socca Federation successfully concluded in Birmingham with Pakistan becoming a member of the new 52-associate governing body in the process. Shahzaib Trunkwala from Pakistan elected as Vice-President.

The ISF aims to govern the 5, 6 and 7-a-side football format and cater to the masses that play the small-sided game on an amateur level across the world. Attendees at the event also elected Mr. Thanos Papadopoulos as the Joint CEO, who was quick to highlight the potential of the game and how it can be used for human development in multiple areas around the world.

The Federation will also be organizing the first ever World Cup under it’s banner in Portugal this year in October, where Pakistan is also set to feature.
