KARACHI -UNS : Sindh Chief Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah Friday said the ruling of Supreme Court of Pakistan in connection with former SSP Malir Rao Anwar will be complied with, hours after the apex court reversed its earlier order and issued a contempt of court notice for the police officer involved in Naqeebullah Mehsud murder in alleged police custody.
He said this while talking to media at the Qalandar shrine in Sehwan Shareef on the first anniversary of bombing here. “Sindh government will act upon whatever apex court rules with regard to Rao Anwar,” he stressed.
Replying to a query regarding Muttahida Quami Movement-Pakistan (MQM-P), the chief minister remarked, “I wish the MQM-P people to work concertedly by brushing aside all their mutual differences.”
Murad also ruled out alliance with any political party in the run up to the elections.
He deplored the allegations of bargains of votes in Senate elections, saying those who mouthed about horse-trading are suspicious of their own senators.
