Politicians eyeing ‘umpire’s finger’ will fail in next elections: Nawaz

SHEIKHUPURA -UNS – Former premier Nawaz Sharif has said on Sunday in an address to a political rally that politicians who aim for ‘umpire’s finger’ would have empty ballot boxes in upcoming General Elections 2018.

During his speech delivered to party s supporters, Nawaz said that those who look out for ‘umpire’s finger’ would fail in the elections this year.

He rhetorically asked Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) chairman Imran Khan, without mentioning the name, and Pakistan People’s Party (PPP), to tell the people how many development projects did the governments initiate in parts of power.

Nawaz claimed that corruption worth even Rs10, Rs100, Rs500 or Rs1,000 was not proved against him.
