Senate polls: Nomination papers of 42 candidates accepted from Sindh: ECP

ISLAMABAD -UNS – Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) confirmed on Monday that they have accepted the nomination papers of 42 candidates from Sindh for the upcoming Senate elections on March 3.

ECP spokesperson informed media that final list of candidates in Senate elections will be published shortly.

According to Radio Pakistan, the revised lists of candidates for the Senate elections against the seats of Federal Capital and FATA will be published tomorrow.

Candidates can withdraw their nomination papers for Senate elections from four provinces till Monday. The polling for the Senate elections will be held on March 3.

Two candidates of Senate elections from Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Maulana Sami-ul-Haq and Abdul Wasey withdrew their nomination paper earlier today..

According to Election Commissioner of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, they had submitted their nomination papers for general seats.
