Six terrorists killed, two army personnel martyred during South Waziristan operation

SOUTH WAZIRISTAN -UNS – At least six terrorists were killed and two army personnels embraced martyrdom during security forces’ operation in South Waziristan.

According to a press release issued by Inter Services Public Relations (ISPR), Security Forces conducted successful intelligence based operation (IBO) in village Spina Mela near Ladha, South Waziristan.

IBO was launched on reports of presence of few terrorists who had entered the area morphed into returning temporarily displaced persons (TDPs).

After exchange of heavy fire, six terrorists including a high value target terrorist Nanakar involved in killing of local population and Maliks was killed.

During the operation, Havaldar Razzaq Khan and Havaldar Mumtaz Hussain embraced martyrdom.

Weapons and ammunition were recovered along with communication sets through which terrorists were in contact with their handlers across the border in Afghan Province Paktia.
