FM visit Kabul after high-level meeting presided by PM

ISLAMABAD -UNS : Foreign Minister Shah Mehmood Qureshi would leave for Kabul on one-day visit to Afghanistan on Friday.
The foreign minister would be accompanied by foreign secretary and other officials of the Foreign Ministry. According to reports, the foreign minister would hold meeting with Afghan president Dr Ashraf Ghani, chief executive Dr Abdullah Abdullah and his Afghan counterpart.
Pakistani delegation would discuss bilateral relations, Afghan peace process and regional situation with Afghan officials.
A high-level meeting was chaired by Prime Minister Imran Khan on Friday, a spokesman for the PM office said.
According to the spokesman, the meeting was attended by COAS General Qamar Javed Bajwa, DG ISI, foreign minister Shah Mehmood Qureshi and other senior officials. The meeting discussed Pakistan’s relations with different countries and national security issues. The meeting also discussed the foreign minister’s upcoming visit to Afghanistan.
