ISLAMABAD -UNS- Cynthia de Richie, an American woman, sent a legal notice to former prime minister and PPP leader Yousuf Raza Gilani seeking Rs 120 million in damages.
Cynthia de Richie has sent a legal notice through Nasir Azeem Khan Advocate.
The legal notice sent by Cynthia Richie states that Yousuf Raza Gilani harassed me and is now damaging my reputation with false allegations.
The notice said that Yousuf Raza Gilani along with Rehman Malik harassed him in 2011 and now he is being harassed on social media through the PPP media cell.
I will go to any lengths to prove the allegations
Cynthia de Richie has demanded in her legal notice that Yousuf Raza Gilani apologize for his allegations and pay Rs 12 crore in damages.
“I have been defamed nationally and internationally,” added Cynthia de Richie, an American woman, in the legal notice.
Cynthia de Richie has also said in her legal notice that if her allegations are not apologized for within 14 days, legal action will be taken.
Cynthia de Richie’s lawyer Nasir Azeem Khan has told the media that he has sent a legal notice to Yousuf Raza Gilani with the permission of his client.
